A Mini Mindful Moment Upon Serene Sand

Picture for a moment - you’re lounging in a hammock,
It sways in a way that lulls the chaos of the day into the distance,
Thus your mind wanders to thoughts of cocktails/sand/waves upon the shore,
As the heat of the day allows these cooling thoughts minimal resistance…

The parrots in the trees above brighten and enchant your mind,
Whilst the light breeze makes the heat more bearable as does your once iced drink,
Though swaying palm trees and tropical weather may seem more picturesque than hot dry gum,
The lack of seagulls to swipe your snacks is a welcome element to think…

However when one’s the serenity of swaying in a supportive hammock,
’Tis irrelevant if the warm sand is red or golden nor the trees be palm or gum,
One’s mind is still floating away upon serene sand in your thoughts,
While ever the breeze is cool and gentle and one’s time for the fun…

Thus with your mind at a secluded spot where theres sand,
The breeze amongst the leaves needs little imagination to illusion waves that crash,
As you enjoy the bliss induced state you find yourself now in,
Thoughts of life’s chaos dissolving away seemingly near gone in a flash…

Yet like most things this moment upon serene sand can only last so long,
You need venture back into the world at some point ‘fore it thwarts off your balance,
Though at any moment your hammock eagerly awaits your return,
So you can once again enjoy the serenity of this blissful dance.
