Picture in your mind a moment a gem deep in a rocky area of our earth,
Completely surrounded in a way only it can fit where it is,
For ’tis where it’s been formed thus knows of no other place,
Where element by element it’s grown and evolved into its hugging encase.
Eventually comes a moment when ’tis uncovered by an ambitious miner,
Whom has tirelessly dug their way from the surface down to this point,
Both covered in dirt their light defines sparkles to experience galore,
For this moment is a beginning unlike any other thats come before.
The minor elated is now tasked with the element of extraction,
Of this enchanting gem they’ve found delicately so as to reduce chances of fraction,
Far from an easy task they shall succeed this time with minimal distraction,
As completely removing this gem shall bring them a moment of immense satisfaction.
Soon the gem ’tis hit with sunshine for the first time in its existence,
With a stronger intensity to the lamp it sparkles and reveals glimmers,
Of it’s enchanting beauty all the more to the delight of all whom see,
It’s beauty giving shivers to all whose imaginations upon such a thing simmers…
Once cleaned of dirt all is revealed ~ for this gem shan’t disappoint,
All that once was hidden from view ’tis now uncovered to view with ease,
Rainbows myriad through its being like magic to brighten the dullest of moments,
Potential now realised that for this beauty shall be far from a squeeze.
Ones creations too are much like this gem ~ hidden deep within our mind...
Until we eventually discover and in turn craft them into being,
With hopes the whole world can one day see them glimmer and shine in kind.
