A Poetic Moment Exploring the Benefits of Mindful Walking in Australian Bushland

When the sun is furthest from it’s peak - yet still high enough to light one’s way,
Venturing upon a well marked track into the Australian Bushland on foot,
May be the grounding element one needs to not only exercise their body,
But reset one’s mental perspective; clearing unnecessary thoughts at play.

For irrespective any apanthropic tendencies one may have - seraphic time in nature,
Disconnected from civilisation to take a long slow breath and a moment to just be,
Can ripple throughout ones life without further deliberate effort from your conscious mind,
Allowing mindfulness a chance to embrue a subconscious perception as an increasing overture.

Hence taking a moment to not just walk but to notice the environment one walks through,
Opening yourself to energetically feel all within your aura and the vibration they emit towards you,
The smell of the plants clearing your senses; alerting you to dampening changes in weather before it’s cue,
Animals in the area leaving remnants to remind you that you’re far from alone with many a clue.

Thus note the dirt beneath your feet and it’s ability to inform you of the usage of your chosen track,
The story it can tell providing more than an element of knowledge but a necessary warning,
For one’s very survival may be at risk if signs of danger are seen yet unacknowledged,
Depending on where your preference to walk lies ignorance could have you never getting back.

Therefore a bush walk amongst the magic of Australia’s breathtaking bushland ’tis a mindful practice,
Requiring knowledge of one’s environment and it’s energetics to be an essential guide,
A lackadaisical mindset needing to evolve swiftly to enjoy the full experience one can find,
Once aligned in connection rather than plowing onwards with little more than increasing endurance.

A Poetic Moment Pondering how the Importance of Choosing the Right Place to Live Lies in Alignment

Where one desires to live their life is not always a matter of on a map location,
For some ’tis actually a case of where their soul feels they most belong,
While there shall always be those whom chase perceived grandeur and opportunity,
Polar that extreme the world will always have those of us whom prefer a slower more seraphic song,
To bring balance into the human race from amongst the trees listening to natures hum,
Ultimately neither is any better than the other for if ’tis where you align to be your styles not wrong.

Thus us aligning with a slower lifestyle may find the cities daunting despite our frustrations with our chosen home’s dust,
Preferring listening to birdsongs over motors roaring as we take a moment to awaken to the day,
Brewing tea as wildlife enjoys a reprieve in the garden sprinkler transmuting like acid the outer worlds crust,
‘Fore delving into our own variant of chaos ~ ‘till we’re lucubrating deep into the night in our own way,
Tending our connection to the natural world more than the fast paced innovations civilisation tends to thrust,
Learning to rely on ourselves more than the interesting array of things others enjoy amongst their foray.

Though there is times when life in the bush can throw a frustrating challenge to jolt one from the bliss,
Like when one needs a basic something and despite online availability the delivery options are a miss,
Hence one having to creatively find an alternative ‘till fate casts you next into civilisations midst,
Involving a road trip that is always an epic adventure and endurance challenge with many a twist,
Near always having one the whole trip home pondering anything forgotten from your carefully curated but misplaced list,
As there is almost always something that’s usually important to be metaphorically goodbye kissed.

Yet when the wheels once again pick up dust and there’s trees lining the road as far as one can see,
One finds themselves a little lighter as their confidence bolsters closer to returning to their comfort zone,
Though phones may have little to no service you can feel the energetic shift from dense to increasingly wild and free,
Whilst even your vehicle seems to rejoice being back on the dirt akin the bitumens constant monotone,
Making it clear the bush is where one is personally better suited to be living rather than the chaos of a city,
Hidden away as much as you desire in your personal querencia amongst natures seldom ventured undertone.

Therefore when one finds themselves actually feeling from physical to core that they’re truely home,
The location is not what matters ~ for it can be any location where one fully aligns thus thrives,
Irrespective how little or often one feels the need to pack themselves and the kids in the car to roam,
As adventures bringing challenges and variety add a necessary zing to break up ones mundane,
And remind one why they love where they choose to live through refreshing ones perspective’s loam,
So they can continue moulding their lifestyle to they’re design ~ balanced in alignment with where they in this moment belong.
