Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A decade… whilst it may seem to be just a mere 10 years,
’Tis around an eighth of the average human lifespan,
Thus has the ability to engulf an entire era of time with ease,
And the potential for any of us to undertake the most elaborate of plans.
However if the past decade has imparted any lesson to me,
’Tis that unaligned long term goals aren’t likely to succeed,
Rather they shall teach what they need to evolve one onto their actual path,
Leaving stories, scars and ongoing challenges as constant reminders to heed…
So whilst children may evolve into teens and adults grown,
Learning and departing upon lifelong adventures of their own,
Vocational activities that align within ones core can hold their constant monotone,
As a steady element throughout the years as they’ve flown.
Which is why ’tis important to not just design ones lifestyle in alignment with ones core,
But to interweave ones chosen vocation into ones life,
As whilst it may produce challenges and at times be cast aside,
It shall also provide one a solid element when chaos throws life for a loop leaving one in an aspect of strife…
Thus whilst some may build homes/careers/and stories of fun,
Partaking in what nurtures ones core passion ’tis always key,
For living a fulfilling life of ones own design aligned with that within ones core,
Is an ongoing element that is bound to always bring a stable perspective of glee.
