A Poetic Moment Pondering how Listening to Your Body is a Path to Wellness

What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

Wellness, ’tis a delicate balance that is often swayed when one looses the rhythm of their life’s dance,
Yet often we get busy and overlook what our whole being needs holistically to maintain our alignment to it’s beat,
Pushing to achieve in a way we were never supposed to ~ disconnected not just from our core,
But from our entire being! Unable to notice it’s cries ‘till they’re symptoms in a viscous and often expensive cycles feat.

For our bodies keep score with scars and lessons guiding our souls script for our lives,
Thus if we choose to refuse to listen to our script we can find ourselves amidst challenges seemingly never ending,
Needing an abundance of supportive elements just for one to continue at least the illusion of being one that thrives,
Despite spiralling into a disconnected whirlpool often accompanied with expenses near never ending.

As our bodies energetically whisper what they need before they scream in physical pain,
Like an alarm that’s gradually increasing ~ hoping to alert our rather stressed and distracted brain,
Irrespective of deadlines/schedules and the to-do lists you may believe are important to obtain,
However if we ignore our body to chase our chosen hustle what do we truely actually gain?

Hence maintaining balance though ‘tis delicate is often not always something one needs to find,
But what one need remember to adhere by listening out for when our bodies notify us that it’s strayed,
Even if it be as simple as following strategies like drinking enough water to quench ones thirst at least in your mind,
Or inhaling a meditative breath taking note that your amazing body has endured everything that your life thus far has parlayed…

For energetically; healing has no destination ~ ’tis a reconnection to ones holistic soul,
Rebuilding fragment by fragment from the centre of ones divine core outwards entwining with all,
Thus remember that first one needs to listen to their body then allow it’s guidance to flow,
Evolving lifestyle and perspective respectively according to the aligning action it happens to call.
